Wow, what a coincidence! I just got home from an engagement party that was nicer than my actual wedding, and (surprise surprise) the band played this song! I wasn’t on the dance floor yet, but Allison and I chair danced.. Anyway, I love Earth, Wind, and Fire, and I really love dance parties!!!

Here’s “Mighty Healthy” by Ghostface Killah, from Supreme Clientele. Don’t know why, but I thought it might be fun to listen to while sick.
Anyway, I’ve been listening to this song for ten years and I’ve never made any sense out of the lyrics. “Burn a flag in your grass: spiteful” is right up my alley, though. The chorus is a funny take on the obscure “Holy War (Live)” by Divine Force from ‘88, I think. This is one of those “this is how rap should sound” songs for me.
